My 33rd Birthday

Yesterday was my, gulp, 33rd birthday!

In the morning, Ava and I made my birthday cake.

Such a little helper. Once we were done, I asked her if she wanted to taste the batter and she declined. I was shocked. Is this my kid? Well, that left more for me. I planned all my calories around that one piece of cake and it was worth it!!

The kids took extra long naps for me. That was the best birthday present ever. Noah slept 2 1/2 hours without me having to go in even once. Ava slept a little over 2 hours. Ahh, what to do with my time you ask, catch up on Tivo!

My morning started with coffee in bed and ended with a glass of wine in bed. The perfect birthday.
