She loves jokes. Today when we went for our walk she recited her favorite joke:
"A horse walks into a bar and the bartenders says Why the long face?" and then she laughs.
She also likes to say "Why did the chicken cross the road?" But she doesn't follow up with an answer, she just laughs.
She loves to dance and tell stories. She is really into reading. She loves to pull out books and just look at the pictures. She loves to learn to.
She doesn't love to listen. I will tell her something and then ask her what I said and she will just stare up at me like I have grown horns. This morning, I was telling her that she doesn't get to watch TV today because she didn't sleep through the night. Then I asked her what I just told her and she stared into space and said I don't know. Mike and I were trying so hard not to laugh because she is so funny when she does it. She will usually make some funny face.
She will be going to school in a week. I think I am more nervous than she is. We go to a parents night on Thursday and she will go to a different room with the teacher and other kids while we meet with the Director. That should be interesting.
As I mentioned, she has not been sleeping through the night. She sleeps through the night about 3 nights a week. Lately when she wakes up she says she has to go potty and she goes, but I think she is just used to waking and saying that, because we have gone months upon months where she didn't need to go at night. I am trying to get back the the incentives because it worked will the first time, but not so much this time. Oh well, I guess she is just going to be that kid that doesn't sleep.
| Reading her High Five book, he absolute favorite book that she gets. Thanks Nana and Papa Ron |
